Six Flags over Texas Arlington Question?

Some friends and I are going to six flags in arlington soon and are looking for a hotel..I know some hotels have shuttle services.. but don't they stop running after a certain time? I've read where some hotels use the trolley system.. is that a good way to get from the hotel to six flags? how late does it run?
