I need boyfriend advice!!!!?

ok so my boyfriend is amazing but hes never had another girlfriend before so hes kinda bad at it. We never talk hardly at all. Weve been datin for 4 months now and havent been on any dates. I hardly ever see him. And hes not the best at starting a conversation. He never even tells me or anyone else that he cares about me even though he does. So i want to talk to him about it and tell him that i want things to change but i dont know what to say to him. Can you please help??
