My jaw clicks when I open my mouth?

My jaw does it too. I have had it for about 25 years now. It is on the right side. I had braces when I was a kid. I also had surgery on my thoart when I was 15 and they had my mouth open for two hours. I think it was from this. I don't hear it as much now unless I am trying to hear it. It is something you will jist have to live with. If you go to wikipedia and look up TMJ temporomadibular joint disorder it will tell more about it.
