Hannibal Lector first made his premiere in the novel Red Dragon following the film Silence of the Lambs which received 5 academy awards. A sequel to silence of the Lambs called Hannibal was made the year after following Hannibal Rising a prequel of the Hannibal lector series. Hannibal Lector was psychiatrist who was convicted of killing and cannibalizing nine of his patients. When Hannibal Lector was six years old he suffered a horrific childhood trauma, he witnessed both his parents and younger sister, Mischa brutally murdered and watched while his sister was cannibalized by desert men in his countryside home in England. When Hannibal watched his sister disemboweled and eaten he then developed his signature move as a serial killer. What I believe draws people to Hannibal lector is his captivating characteristics of being the most intelligent, well-mannered, cannibalistic serial killer of all time; this is why he is my favorite personality.
