Should I use an awesome Flash slideshow that's 600kb, or a less awesome one that's half the size?

I'm in the middle of designing a single-page website that otherwise is very small in size - one or two tiny graphics and the rest text with an attached style sheet. Do I go for a really enticing flash slideshow that's 600kb or one that's not as great but half the size?
