Does steady aim reduce kick while aiming blackops?

i use the kiparis with rapid fire and i normally use warlord and it would really help me if i had extended mag but right now i have steady aim but i rarely hipfire so im wondering does steady aim reduce the kick (recoil) of the gun or do i just have it for nothing thanks so much for your help
