Differences between Florida people and California people? Lifestyles? Cultures? Finances/Way of Life?

I'm moving to Florida in a week and just curious to know of the differences between Florida and California? I grew up in California and it's all I know. I'll be moving to Florida for a change after some life-issues I've had this year and was privileged to be able to be transferred to Florida. I'll be moving from San Jose to Tampa (and hopefully Ft. Lauderdale shortly after). I'm a bit nervous, yet, excited. What's to expect? Cost of living? Housing? Economy? The people? Just curious. THanks.
